Camps open to public at 9:00am both Saturday and Sunday.
Enjoy an educational day at a beautiful location on 600 acres of farmland with gorgeous views of the surrounding countryside!!!
Major battles will erupt on both Saturday and Sunday afternoons at 1:00pm.
Activities and demonstrations will occur both Saturday and Sunday and will interest the entire family. Besides the battles each day, come prepared to spend time walking our entire event grounds and talk with our reenactors who are always willing to teach on all aspects of the Civil War. Besides those activities on our schedule below, at any time all day you should make sure to stop by and chat with our soldiers and civilians, see our blacksmith at work, learn from our Civil War medical personnel, inspect the artillery, chat with the engineers, pet the cavalry horses, and check out the soldiers living in their trenches in the woods.

Events will include Drilling, Music, Games, and Competitions. Past competitions have including loading and firing, tug-of-war, and best beard.
Plan to shop at our Civil War vendors who will be present all weekend selling Civil War period items such as clothing, equipment, educational items, toys, and so forth.
And rest assured, there will be food and drink available! The Lain family will be incredibly busy preparing and selling their well known and delicious home cooked meals and snacks all day both Saturday and Sunday. So throw out your blanket or enjoy one of the tables and have a family picnic surrounded by gorgeous views and unique entertainment.
Plan to join us for a few hours or, if you like camping, stay for the entire weekend! Everyone is invited to come enjoy the weekend of activities while dry RV or modern (non-reenactor) tent camping on site. (cost for weekend camping is $25/weekend for non-reenactors and includes all the weekend activities). For information on camping, please contact Bill Lain at captain@21ga.org.

From the North: Take Rt. 36 south through Hornell towards Canisteo, Approx. 2.5 mi. turn left on Magee Rd. (Belle Haven exit), travel 0.7 mi., turn right on Canisteo/Hornell Backroad, travel 0.2 mi. turn left on Lain Rd., travel 0.5 mi. to event site, follow signs.
From the South: Take Rt. 36 north through Canisteo towards Hornell, Approx 1.0 mi. outside of Canisteo turn right on Magee Rd. (Belle Haven exit), travel 0.7 mi. turn right on Canisteo/Hornell Backroad, travel 0.2 mi. turn left on Lain Rd., travel 0.5 mi. to event site, follow signs.
